Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse who is comfortable working autonomously to join us at our newly renovated state of the art Dental Surgery in central Cambridge. We provide a range of services including implant dentistry, oral surgery and general dentistry and hygiene treatments.

You’ll be part of a successful team and your role will be to deliver the highest level of customer service. You’ll develop customer relationships and manage processes to ensure the customer’s overall experience is a pleasant one.

Key Responsibilities

  •          Ensuring CQC requirements are met
  •          Providing clinical chairside support
  •          Maintaining stock levels of consumables within the centre, this will include monitoring and ordering of stock
  •          Setting up and decontamination of instruments
  •          Reception cover, face to face and over the telephone, arranging appointments
  •          Maintaining and updating patient records
  •          Treatment planning and supporting patients throughout treatment
     
  •      Monthly audits

 

Specific Skills

  •          GDC registered
  •         Understanding of CQC and infection control requirements and regulations
  •          Strong administration skills and must be highly organised

                 Experience of working independently

  •          Customer focused, positive and enthusiastic
  •          Ability to remain calm and professional
  •          Strong interpersonal and communication skills
