Our client is a GBP35m fast growing privately owned business operating in the digital print fulfilment sector and is part of a larger international media distribution and print Group. The business is organised around three core market segments, Commercial B2B, Consumer Photo-gifts and Photo Books, Prints & Cards, and is experiencing strong growth with excellent opportunities for accelerating from this solid business platform. With a reputation as a sector leader in digital fulfilment the business seeks a senior commercial leader who can lead the development and execution of plans that expand existing channels, build new routes to market, introduce new product lines and strategic channel partners. With the market developing rapidly the business seeks an inspiring and creative individual who can conceptualize future commercial vision, take action and lead others on that journey.

Key responsibilities of the role:
• Accountable for the commercial performance of the business at both top line and Gross Profit levels
• Lead the Sales & Marketing team comprising Account Managers, Channel Management, Product Management, and e-commerce
• Develop a commercial strategy that capitalises upon new niches within the personalisation market, enabling the business to be a fulfilment partner of choice offering either customer branded, own brand or white label solutions.
• Lead the e-commerce strategy and manage implementation & execution
• Grow the business through organic sales, partnering and business acquisition
• Build a strong direct presence in the Commercial B2B sector
• Build and launch new e-commerce solutions targeted at specific niche segments.
• Build a collaborative working relationship across functions, brands and other businesses within the Group.

Key attributes sought:
• An experienced Sales & Marketing professional bringing a good breadth of relevant commercial experience in B2B and B2C product delivery through digital and traditional retail channels
• Possess leadership ability with the ability to take a step up to general management
• A digital native with a passion for transformative technologies, creative solutions and disruptive business models
• Experienced in e-commerce and digital marketing
• Possess lots of drive and energy
• Collaborative style
• Excellent communications, relationship management and influencing skills
