Pastry Chef required for luxury hotel located near to Tavistock on the Devon/Cornwall border.

Hotel Endsleigh owned by Olga Polizzi is a beautiful Grade I country house hotel, set in 108 acres of woodland and gardens.

The Hotels restaurant serves modern British cuisine with an emphasis on locally-sourced produce. The menu is changed daily, providing variation for our guests and team.

You must be highly creative and hugely passionate about the industry. You will be inspired by working in a highly driven and professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity to share and develop your skills and learn from our talented senior chefs.

Key responsibilities of the Pastry Chef de Partie will include:
Day to day running of the pastry section.
Production of fresh seasonal ?? la carte desserts, afternoon teas, banqueting desserts and pastries.
Working on dessert menu development.
Assisting with ordering and controlling of stock.
Following hygiene and health and safety requirements at all times.

The ideal candidate for the Pastry Chef de Partie position will be confident with running the pastry section, have a NVQ Level 2 and 3 or similar, and be passionate for providing first class food to our guests. The successful Pastry Chef de Partie should have previous experience in fine dining establishments. You should have the drive to succeed, passion for cooking, attention to detail, be flexible and work well under pressure.

Salary up to GBP23,000 depending on experience + gratuities in the region of GBP1,500 per annum. Live in accommodation available.
