Field Based (Covering North Devon)

Now in their second decade, they require Care Workers to support those who require help around their home, support during the night and constant care solutions. Approved by local NHS trusts, our client is a Tier 1 Devon Cares provider which means they can boast the highest standards of care to support health, wellbeing and independence. 

As part of our client's continued growth and expansion, they are looking for a number of Care Workers to join their team and deliver services across North Devon.

What will you be doing? 

As a Care Worker, you will be tasked with providing support to people in their own homes. You will be assigned one service user to support and will be able to take on flexible shifts that meet your needs. 

Specifically, your role will involve: 

- Facilitating day-to-day activities 
- Preparing meals and snacks for your service user 
- Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing and showering 
- Aiding the service user to complete shopping and small financial transactions 
- Providing transportation for appointments, shopping trips or outings 
- Promoting social activities for service users 
- Producing factual records of daily activities 

What will you need? 

To be considered for the role of Care Worker, you will not need any experience, but you will need to be: 

- Polite 
- Caring 
- Empathetic 
- Communicative 
- Friendly
