Sphere Solutions are working with a leading and innovative organisation offering a range of personalised, outcome based care and support packages throughout Devon, Plymouth and Cornwall.

We are looking for a Part Time Support Worker to support a gentleman who lives in his own home in Kingsteignton. Hours of around 17 per week - working a long day then sleep. This may suit someone looking to supplement their hours, as the role can be worked flexibly around another job.

The successful candidate will be mature ,patient and experienced. It is essential that you are patient, reliable, enthusiastic with excellent communication skills to support this gentleman who has Complex Needs, including Autism and Epilepsy.

This role is about supporting the person to manage all aspects of his home life and wellbeing as well as getting out and about in the community. You will have a Person Centered Approach and provide a caring, safe and effective service that is responsive to the needs of the persons we support.

You will also need to have a Full UK driving licence, so that you can drive the gentleman's own car.

The hours to include days, evenings, and alternate weekends and to sleep overnight.
Additional hours are available to cover for annual leave, training and absences.

Applicant Requirements:
• You will have at least 12 months experience of working with people with complex needs.
• You will need to attend all training offered to you to support your professional progression
• You will be required to support people with their personal care and administering their medication
• This role requires you to be flexible and adaptable to change to suit the needs of the people we support.
• Rotas are based on the requirements of the people we support and are subject to change at short notice.
