We are currently recruiting for a Workplace Co-Ordinator in Health & Care, to join our Health, Hair and Beauty department, here at South Devon College. You will be required to support the Section Head in the coordination of delivery of relevant Work Based Learning including Traineeship/Apprenticeship, Work Experience and Work Base Project funded programmes as part of core qualifications or enrichment. You will be responsible for a caseload of learners and employers, recruiting, supporting and monitoring progress whilst helping to ensure that the college meets its success measures and contractual requirements. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining outstanding working relationships with both external and internal customers.
The successful candidate will need to hold a Level 4 (or above) qualification in the relevant vocational area, and hold GCSE Level qualifications (or equivalent), including English and Maths. You will need to hold IQA assessor awards/qualification (A1, D32/D33 – or equivalent), and hold or be prepare to work towards a verifier award. We are looking for someone who has vocational experience in industry setting relevant to the curriculum area, and experience of working with apprentices, and assessing learner outcomes.
Due to the remoteness of some of the locations and lack of public transport, you will need to hold a full current driving licence with access to a car or other appropriate form of transport in order to be successful in this post.
