Lay Members needed
Luton Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) and Safeguarding Adults Board (LSAB)
We are looking to recruit people living in Luton who have an interest in how vulnerable children and adults are kept safe from abuse.
LSCB and LSAB are responsible for making sure agencies work together to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of adults, children and young people in Luton.
Both Boards are made up of senior managers across local agencies, including police, health, children’s services and the community and voluntary sectors.
We are looking for people who are able to contribute to the work of either Board by:
- attending Board meetings or subgroups with a view to provide a perspective of someone who lives in and is involved in Luton.
- be curious and be confident in asking agencies questions about good practice
- bringing an awareness and knowledge of the diverse communities and individuals living in Luton
The time commitment is approximately four-six days a year.
