A highly successful and growing company in Exeter are looking for a French speaking Export Customer services Advisor. A great role for someone who enjoys building and maintaining customer relationships along with administration work.


- You will be responsible for looking the company's French Customers, including; the prompt, accurate handling of customer calls, including provision of technical information, availability, shipping details and pricing.
- Responsible for providing a timely accurate response to customer emails and faxes.
- Responsible for the accurate inputting of orders, freight and shipping data.
- Responsible for the production of delivery notes, including liaison with manufacturing or despatch to ensure appropriate products are manufactured / despatched for appropriate countries / certification.
- Responsible for liaison with credit control over credit stops and credit enquires.
- Ensure all information given is within the agreed company framework, referring queries and issues to Technical Customer Services or other internal departments, where appropriate.
- Provide feedback to internal departments such as Marketing, Purchasing, R&D and Production.
- Log customer issues onto Sales Logix system, detailing all communication to the customers.
- Some translation and proof work may be required.

Skills required

- Fluent French and English Speaker (essential)
- Experience of working in an export role is desirable, although not essential.
- Proven excellent Customer Service skills.
- Excellent confident verbal communication skills.
- Numerate with accurate attention to detail, including ability to accurately enter data.
- Knowledge of excel, internet and email systems.
- Ability to work in a calm, methodical way.
