About Riverford

We're mad about organic veg. It's at the core of everything we do. We love to grow it, pack it into boxes and deliver it to customers' doorsteps around the UK. This takes a lot of brilliant people, with a range of skills and knowledge.

Riverford began in 1986, with a few acres of veg, a wheelbarrow and a beaten up 2CV for deliveries. We've grown into a successful e-commerce business, with four farms, three packhouses, a fleet of vans and drivers, a wholesalers, butchery, organic restaurant and pub. We employ people across many areas including IT, Logistics, Sales, HR, Finance and Marketing (and more besides).

Our culture and values set us apart from other businesses. Riverford is a friendly, informal place to work, with a passionate, entrepreneurial spirit. We're committed to providing a fair deal for growers, customers and staff.

What you'll be doing

Around 35,000 veg boxes leave our farm in Devon every week, and there are a number of teams across production that make this happen.

This role is focussed on providing administrative support mainly to the general manager, who has responsibility for production at the farm. Whether your producing KPIs or completing general admin your approach will be bright, well organised and always with a good eye for detail to spot when things don't look quite right. You'll enjoy being busy and will need to be confident with IT and particularly excel in order to cope with the variety of tasks you'll be asked to complete. Working with so many different departments and teams you'll need really great communication skills and be willing to muck in and help out with any task that helps the teams to get their jobs done.
