An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Support Worker within a residential children's home in Axminster. We are seeking special people who are passionate about supporting children, and helping them to reach their maximum potential in life. You will supporting children who have a range of needs and behavioural issues due to disadvantaged backgrounds, trauma, autism, learning difficulties and EBD. You will support the children with all aspects of their daily lives, acting as a positive adult role model, and encouraging them to engage with positive activities. This is a challenging but extremely rewarding role We have either a days-only or sleep-in role available, depending on your preferred shift pattern: Days Only - You will work work 8am - 11pm, 2 - 3 times per week, with no sleep ins. Pay rate for this role will be £7.92 - £8.45 per hour (roughly £15,000 - £16,000 per annum) depending on experience and qualifications. Sleep Ins - You will work 10 x 24.5 hour shifts per month, which run from 7am-11pm, with a sleep in from 11pm - 7am. Salary for this role is £20,000 - £21,770 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also have part-time positions available.
